Happy Sunday, friends! Welcome to Weekly Devotions for Women.
As I write this weekly devotions for women, I have been sitting for what seems like hours, in the quite, and watching the snow fall.
Rarely can we enjoy it for this long.
The gentle flakes floating down without stopping…fireplaces puffing out smoke, wind whipping up drifts on houses….all are rare in Texas.
So, please do not make fun of us with our fascination and a touch of glee.
At this time on Saturday, we are still facing an ice storm…that is the tough part.
But, for now in the peace of the moment the snow brings me back to my Heavenly Father.
An amazing, creative God who has made a diverse world of seasons, animals, people, stars and….snowflakes…each one unique…how incredible is that?
I am pondering how we are snowflakes within this vast creation…..
WEEKLY DEVOTIONS FOR WOMEN: UNIQUE IN EVERY DAY

This is my Bible…and I want to share with you the two pages I have studied the most since I accepted Christ into my Heart at age 25….47 years ago!
God has made each of us unique women and we are to celebrate our differences…however, he has also given us guidelines in Proverbs 31:10-31 of how He desires that we all have noble character.
And to God, noble character is “worth far more than rubies.”

The Proverbs 31 woman is even ready for the snow!
Throughout my life, I have set these traits of a woman with noble character as personal goals.
Praying specifically over every trait and verse for my life.
This woman is smart, compassionate, diligent, industrious, wise, influential, efficient , strong, dignified and kind.

Strength and Dignity are what God has chosen for her wardrobe…and I love that fact that she laughs and has joy from her strength and preparedness.
After I accepted Christ and desired changes in my life, I would often return to Proverbs 31.
I wrote down each verse to practice and memorize, and studied each word. I also enjoyed reading the section in different translations of the Bible.
I wanted to experience God in powerful ways and He lead me to focus and pray over Proverbs 31.
Of course, there were difficult times, but I still believed following her example of these noble traits that I would persevere through anything…and God has seen me through.

I would love to meet this woman some day and thank her for walking with me through my life.
While I know we are different and unique, we respect, love and worship the same God. That is what it means to “fear God.”
We desire to follow His Ways…because He knows what’s is best for us.
I pray each woman here today will be clothed in Strength and Dignity.
The unique snowflakes are still falling..what a precious gift…to be recovering during a time I can watch the snow.
Thank you for joining me for the Weekly Devotions for Women.
Hopefully I will be back tomorrow…..until then….
EMBRACE TODAY & KEEP SMILING…LET’S LAUGH AT THE DAYS TO COME!
