Happy New Year Friends! This is a totally different kind of post than normal for me to write so let’s just dive in! First of all, I’m so thankful for all of you that have been following me for the last 3 years and I could not have ever got to this point without you! Today I decided to just go ahead and spill the tea! I’m always asked how I get to make money blogging and how do I get to work from home doing something I truly love. The truth is, it didn’t happen overnight, and it definitely wasn’t easy in the beginning.
For years, my blog was a just a hobby in my spare time. I poured creativity and energy into it with very little to show for it financially. I questioned myself constantly. Was I wasting my time? Was blogging even worth it anymore?
Fast forward to today, and my blog now brings in consistent extra income on my own schedule. I’m able to live comfortably and have the freedom to do what I want. No 9-5 job to go to and that truly makes me so happy!

To start a blog first you need a domain name. I recommend signing up with WordPress. I currently use Big Scoots as my host. There are many informative you tube videos you can watch to learn how to start a blog. Once your up and running and have a few posts my affordable guide and checklist will be very useful tools to help you start to build a successful and profitable blog over time.
