How I Use The Peace of Mind Prayer Journal in My Daily Quiet Time

When I sit down with this journal, I like to keep things simple and intentional. Most days, I start by reading the weekly “Peace of Mind” verse and letting it sink in. Then I jot down a few things I’m grateful for, reflect on anything that’s been on my heart, and write out my prayer for the day.

Some mornings, my entries are longer—full of thoughts, questions, and scripture reflections. Other days, it might just be a quiet moment, a verse, and a short prayer. And honestly? Both are completely okay.

I also use the prayer request tracker regularly to keep up with who and what I’m praying for. It’s been such a helpful tool for staying present in my intercession. And it’s a beautiful reminder to check back and celebrate when those prayers are answered. Looking back through past pages and seeing how God has moved is always one of the most encouraging parts of my quiet time.

A woman sits at a wooden desk, peacefully journaling in a notebook under the soft light of a lamp. She wears a light gray ribbed sweater and a delicate necklace, with a calm expression on her face. A potted plant, phone, and decor items rest nearby, creating a cozy and focused prayer or reflection space.
